Our Basic Inserts are designed to provide a therapeutic interface surface between the wheelchair user and the mobility base.Their primary functions are to promote improved sitting posture and provide pressure relief. Basic Inserts are made from nine ply high strength wood bases, quality foams and/or gel materials and a large variety of upholstery fabrics to meet the needs of your clients. We offer our Basic Inserts in a variety of configurations that include the seat insert, the back insert, a seat to back bracket as well as all the attaching hardware. Seats are cut full width and backs are between the backposts unless specified otherwise. Standard foams are 1 1/2” high density on the seat and 1” high density on the back.
