Another option for basic inserts is to attach the seat with velcro style fastener and to use the highly adjustable knob release hardware on the back to facilitate removing the Basic Insert from the mobility base. This option is also useful for powerdrive wheelchairs with limited under seat space and an existing seat pan or upholstery.
